Research

The extensive physical and digital archives of the Laguna Woods History Center are available for your personal research under the supervision of one of our trained archivists, who will give you all the guidance you need.

To access documents as well as digital files, please telephone (949) 206-0150 in advance, to request a research appointment.  One of our archivists will return your call, set your appointment, and work personally with you to help find files related to your search.  Our all-volunteer unpaid staff will try to accommodate your preferred appointment time if at all possible.

You may be surprised how much fun research can be, especially if you discover the exact information you want.  Plus you likely will find context for your research that may be even more interesting.

You will be using the only purpose-built local history archives in Orange County so you may take pride in the Laguna Woods History Center because it really is Your Place in Local History.

We look forward to hearing from you.
