Evolution of Architectural Styles in Orange County 1776 – Present

On June 22, 2017, The Laguna Woods History Center presented architect and author, Richard H. Dodd,  who spoke on the “Evolution of Architectural Styles in Orange County 1776 – Present.”

Over 125 people attended the event held at Clubhouse One. It was a fascinating look into the various type of architecture found in Orange County. Dessert and coffee were served.

Mr. Dodd is the author of Architectural Styles – Orange County: The first comprehensive guide to the evolution of residential styles in Orange County.

This guide tells the story of how styles and methods of building evolved, how movements trickled in to our world and how trend-setters and visionaries in Orange County helped set the standard for architecture around the world.
